DIVISIONAL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
Reporting to the Managing Director, your role will be to provide hands on, effective and efficient management of all supplies in your division in and out of the business. It will be your responsibility to achieve optimal capability through an accurate alignment of material supply to production needs. This is a full time, permanent position and as well as a competitive salary, you will be rewarded with many benefits.
Daily Responsibilities:
Managing the timely purchasing of materials
Production scheduling
People management
Managing procedures and KPIs
Build and maintain supplier relationships
Resolving any materials related issues
Track and report supplier performance for your given division
Track and report forecast accuracy
Manage stock and lead time
Ensure 'Goods In' systems and controls are followed
Manage warehouse and end of line stocks
Participating in site projects
Occasional travel
Role Requirements:
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Driven by data
Excellent problem solver
Strong planning experience with the ability to multi task and manage your time
Proven experience of building and maintaining relationships
An advocate of change
Strong leadership skills within a Supply Chain role
Experience working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage, however is not essential. CIPS would be an advantage, however experience is the most important and study support is available.
