HEAD OF PROCUREMENT AND GOVERNANCE 

This is a newly created role that forms part of the Procurement Executive Team. It is the most senior procurement role focused on procurement operations and governance reporting to the Group Procurement Director. 
Responsible for a team that spans business analysts, and procurement analysts and also the contract manager. You will be responsible for the governance of procurement both within the function and within the business. 
 
Further responsibilities include engaging with the legal and compliance team to create and own the procurement policy, the contracting policy and supporting the authorised signatory policy and statement of authorities. As the governance leader you will be the Lead on the structure of the category management solution. Other duties involve reporting of key procurement metrics (eg: savings, spend under contract, SRM). 
 
Own key procurement polices engage with legal and compliance team for all polices. 
 
You will have a pedigree in procurement and be lateral thinker and influencer with strong category management experience, understanding of core procurement processes (such as e-Sourcing and category management). 
 
Strong numerical and analytical skills with very strong IT skills across Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ideally SAP. 
 
This is a unique opportunity to progress within an International FMCG business. Given the content of the role – you will be from within a consulting/ FMCG/Manufacturing/ Services background.
