SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT 

This is an International Business that has a strong heritage brand based in many countries around the world 
Working closely within the finance team -You will have Overall responsibility of managing all store costs; supporting the Senior Cost manager and Head of FP&A in understanding the KPIs that underpin the budget and the strategic initiatives that are required to be delivered. 
• Lead the forecasting process for staff costs, shrink, known losses, create and maintain robust and detailed financial models; gather, review and challenge the assumptions on future spend from our Operational teams. Create and present forecast packs to the management team. 
• Deliver a consistent, accurate and insightful month end. Clear presentation to Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders of performance vs forecast, supported by detailed variance analysis. 
• Working with Operations provide recommendations to mitigate any overspends or future risk of overspend vs forecast identified. 
• Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators 
• Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management. 
 
Qualifications 
• Qualified (CIMA/ACMA/ACA) with a couple of years gained within industry. 
• Proven experience of Business partnering, forecasting and delivering month end. 
• A background of supporting and challenging businesses to make optimal operational and performance decisions. 
• A proactive approach to driving improvement to our outputs and processes. 
• Someone highly numerate with an analytical approach. 
• Advanced Excel is essential.
