GROUP FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

As part of their strategic growth plans, we are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Group Financial Controller to join our dynamic team and oversee financial operations across the EMEA region. 
 
They are seeking a talented and strategic-minded individual to join the Group Financial Controller (EMEA). Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity, driving performance, and supporting our business objectives across the EMEA region. This is a high-impact role that offers immense growth opportunities, an attractive compensation package, and a hybrid work model (3 days per week in the office). 
 
Responsibilities: 
Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to senior management, ensuring financial objectives are aligned with overall business goals. 
Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee the financial planning and budgeting processes for the EMEA region, analysng performance against targets, and identifying areas for improvement. 
Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings, adhering to local regulations and accounting standards. 
Risk Management: Establish and maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks, mitigating financial risks and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. 
Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, serving as a strategic business partner, providing financial insights, and driving operational efficiency. 
Cash Flow Management: Optimize cash flow, manage working capital, and oversee treasury functions, minimizing borrowing costs and optimizing liquidity. 
Team Development: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. 
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regional finance teams, senior leaders, and external auditors. 
 
Qualifications and Requirements: 
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience in senior finance roles within the FMCG industry. 
Proven track record of successfully managing financial operations in a multinational environment, preferably with exposure to the EMEA region. 
Strong technical expertise in financial accounting, financial planning and analysis, and risk management. 
Excellent knowledge of internal controls, compliance requirements, and financial regulations. 
Strategic mindset with the ability to provide financial insights and drive business performance. 
Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams. 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
