GROUP FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Opportunity has arisen for a Director Of Financial Control at one of the largest service companies in the world. Reporting into the Country Finance Director & MD, with a dotted line into the US Corporate. This is a truly panoramic role that will give the successful individual a wide view on the business..
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the delivery of strategic finance projects and managing the Group Finance function including consolidation and external reporting.
This role is required to support this high growth business as it continues to scale.
This is a high-profile role within the business, taking overall ownership for technical finance matters and delivering on strategic finance projects to support the business. The Group Financial Controller will report directly to the CFO and will have line management responsibility.
The role will initially take on a technical focus, tightening controls, procedures and balance sheet weaknesses but will then have a highly commercial angle - looking at acquisition targets, due diligence, contract negotiations and strategic review of short, medium and long term plans.
It would suit a qualified individual with a strong technical accounting background who also possesses commercial acumen with ambitions to grow in an ever changing, evolving and expanding business.
Experience around the ability to write reports and manuals using a distinctive style. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, business people and management. Ability to motivate and work collaboratively with business partners, key employees, top management, and client groups on various projects. Ability to handle and manage multiple projects is key.
It will review complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyse the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. D.
