SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR - GLOBAL PHARMA PLC
The Supply Chain Director is responsible for the implementation of the Supply Chain strategy for the UK, to include e-commerce and retail in line with the business plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall, within UK Supply Chain, this role serves to manage and develop the UK Supply Chain team as well as to encourage health and safety data management and systems, purchasing, demand and stock planning and sales order administration.
Develop the UK Supply Chain strategy, delivering competitive business advantage.
Contribute as part of the Leadership team to UK strategy, 5-year plan and longer-term goals.
Maintain effective relationships with Global Supply Chain colleagues to implement a cohesive global Supply Chain strategy within the business whilst continuing to respect the local legal framework and business needs.
Actively contribute to the creation of UK's short-, medium- and long-term strategies.
Responsible for negotiation and selection of Supply chain suppliers and contracts.
Education & Experience:
Experience working in the FMCG industry (Cosmetics, Beauty Care, or similar FMCG background preferably).
Excellent relationship management with the natural ability to provide leadership and mentoring.
Background as a Senior Supply Chain Leader, working within a corporate, complex based organisation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build strong business relationships.
Experience of interpreting complex data sets with the ability to translate into purposeful communications.
