Head of Supply Chain EMEA 

Our client, a world-leading engineering and technology business, is seeking a dynamic Head of Supply Chain (EMEA) to join their leadership team. Reporting directly to the US-based Global Head of Supply Chain, this is a high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of the strategy and execution of the EMEA supply chain. 

Daily Responsibilities: 

 
Define and deliver a forward-thinking supply chain strategy that drives business value and resilience across EMEA. 
Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of supply chain professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. 
Harness technology - including AI, predictive analytics, and digital tools — to optimise planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management. 
Build strategic supplier partnerships, driving performance, innovation, and long-term commercial advantage. 
Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leaders in operations, finance, and engineering to align supply chain strategy with business growth. 
Champion continuous improvement across cost, quality, and sustainability, embedding risk management frameworks for resilience. 
Ensure compliance with global regulations, standards, and ESG commitments (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). 

Role Requirements: 

 
Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline (MBA desirable). 
Significant experience in a senior, international supply chain leadership role, ideally within complex engineering or manufacturing environments. 
Proven ability to design and deliver regional/global strategies with measurable impact. 
Strong track record of leading diverse, multi-location teams with an empowering leadership style. 
Expertise in leveraging digital tools, data, and AI to drive forecasting, decision-making, and operational efficiency. 
Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills with both suppliers and stakeholders. 
Commercially astute with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities. 
Knowledge of global compliance standards, supply chain sustainability, and risk management best practices.
