PROCUREMENT MANAGER 

This is an exciting opportunity working for this International Service provider, this role is challenging, varied and evolving. 
This UK Services PLC is going through a 5 year transformation programme and needs an experienced procurement professional with experience of renegotiating contracts. 

Key Responsibilities: 

The primary aim is to negotiate and improve agreements with vendors across a wide array of products and services. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
• Responsible for sourcing new vendors and eliminating excess cost in supply chain - achieved by identifying targeted opportunities for margin and quality enhancements. 
• The business is looking for a £100m cost save over this period and has 1000+ rebate deals which need re-examining – lots of overpayments which need to be converted into volume based discounts. 
• Further rebates will then be converted into off invoice discounts for early payment with associated cost save). 
• You will need to be a robust character with an eye for detail to come in and work through each deal methodically, realigning and improving; redefining and then executing. 
• You will need to be an exceptional negotiator with strong programme planning, stakeholder management skills and gravitas. 
• Ideally someone who can get their head down and gets satisfaction from the improved terms 
• Procurement Contract 
 
Education and Experience 
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 
• 7+ years' of supply chain/ procurement experience 
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
