SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER 

Senior Finance Manager will be the lead finance contact on Festivals and new events as well as the key onsite finance person for another main attraction 
The candidate must have a pro-active and adaptive approach to work as well as a willingness and interest in understanding the nature of the business and the many factors affecting it. Reporting to the FD with 2 direct reports, 
 
Responsibilities will be varied and challenging and include: 
• Assume position as lead finance contact on events . 
• This role will be expected to take full ownership of the events and keep the Finance Director informed of the progress, involving them where necessary. 
o Business Partner with the Event Directors and Ops team to support on event finances 
o Work with the VP of each of these events to ensure they are fully supported and have clear and concise information for decision making 
o Be the onsite eyes and ears for finance 
o Ensure all revenue planning and ops budgets are up to date and reconcilable - working with the business teams to do so, allowing for accurate pre and post-show flashes and timely close out of event finances 
o Ensure applicable taxes are accounted for appropriately by checking treatment with internal tax team 
o Own the bottom-up detailed business planning and cash flow planning 
o Own scenario analysis 
o Own and manage the Risks and Ops across the portfolio 
• Guide and coach direct report effectively so that they can support Senior Finance Manager to achieve the above responsibilities on Festivals and new events. 
• Senior Finance Manager will be the key onsite contact and will fully support the Finance Director in managing the event and will: 
o Work closely with Finance Director across all areas of the event. 
o Directly manage the Event Accountant FTC hired to support on the event 
o Be responsible for the daily revenue tracking and reporting 
o Drives the analysis of onsite spend and behaviour 
• Ensure the Finance Director is fully informed of all necessary items 
• Support Finance Director and then own some of the New Business by working directly with Business VPs and others in the business to create detailed finance models with relevant metrics and forecasts 
• Work with Management Accountant to: 
o Ensure the month end P&L and BS reflects the reality of the current view 
o Provide commentary to any variance to plan 
o Ensure weekly cash flow requests are accurate and complete 
o Weekly and ad hoc sales reports are accurate and complete 
 
Mandatory Candidate Requirements: 
• Strong IT skills (especially Microsoft Office) 
• Strong accounting knowledge 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Process orientated and able to manage and reconcile large data sets 
• Excellent planning & organisational skills to achieve multiple & sometimes conflicting deadlines 
• Attention to Detail 
• Ability to work under pressure 
• Flexibility 
 
Desirable Candidate Requirements: 
• Event experience 
• SAP accounting software 
 
Mandatory Qualifications & Training 
• 3 - 4 years PQE- ACA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent
